A pillow sometimes does the trick.

So I put a pillow over the new coffee maker while it ground the beans. Sounds weird, I know. But it took the shock off the unbelievable sound wave it creates. Oddly, I also turned on the gas logs this am. Some spring days just feel like winter.
Even brought the ferns and hanging baskets in. Window boxes have towels and sheets on them.
Oh. And I’m wearing sox. In clear and blatant...
