A collection of photos and thoughts; hopes and dreams. New England native transplanted to the south...I love where I come from and where I live now! Favorites include my family and my friends, cycling, everything about the sea, design, cooking and entertaining, reading, traveling, all the Boston/New England Sports teams, and walking in the rain!
Winds are fierce — trees are bending and swaying, and shrubs look almost like umbrellas that have been turned inside out. Raining cats and dogs and hail. Kind of big hail, too. It’s pinging off the windows in the back of our house…the wind is driving the rains sideways. While I tend to enjoy the peacefulness that rain can bring, this is quite a storm.
Storms can blow in, and move out, pretty quickly at times. One must stay alert and on your toes, watching out for possible damage, like bending trees. Same applies to the person who is an ungrateful and complaining pain in the butt. I tend to be wary of their behavior and tired of their constant bitching and blaming and “can’t do it” attitude. If it is yours…own it. Change it. And. Stop casting blame on others.
